CERT

CERT is a center of Internet security expertise, located at the Software Engineering Institute, a federally funded research and development center operated by Carnegie Mellon University. CERT studies Internet security vulnerabilities, researches long-term changes in networked systems, and develops information and training to help improve security.

NIST

NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) through the Computer Security Resource Center (CSRC) provides this site for sharing of information security tools and practices, providing one-stop shopping for information security standards and guidelines, and identifying and linking key security web resources to support the industry. This website was developed and is maintained by a joint federal law enforcement and industry task force. Funding for the site has been provided by the United States Postal Inspection Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Key partners include the National White Collar Crime Center, Monster.com, Target and members of the Merchants Risk Council.

InfraGard is a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) program that has as its goal to improve and extend information sharing between private industry and the government, particularly the FBI, when it comes to critical national infrastructures.
