Karl Fox, President of Lithik Systems, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He is former Chair of the Point-to-Point Extensions Working Group of the Internet Engineering Task Force (1996-2003). He invented the fourth generation of firewall technology that is still used today.
